Measuring the number of visitors at entrances, passages or into different departments is extremely interesting for chain stores, shopping centres, hypermarkets, department stores, individual stores, libraries and museums, etc.
Viametrics Entrance is used to produce statistics which make it possible for you to optimise open times, plan staffing levels and to see the result of marketing campaigns, see flows in shopping centres... It provides invaluable information for store managers, operating managers, and marketing managers to plan, follow-up, etc. Using a web database you can easily see the information on your computer via the Internet. Using our own web tool – ViaWeb you will find both reports and diagrams, for example, visitor development over time. All information can also be supplied as raw data directly into the customer's in-house system via our ViaConnect application.

Our history in brief
2008
Viametrics changed owner in April 2008 when Peter Skoglund purchased the company. Viametrics is on the verge of a geographical expansion in Europe and Peter's international experience will provide the knowledge that Viametrics needs in order to expand on the European market. Today Viametrics has over 3000 systems in operation in approximately 20 countries throughout Europe.
2007
In January 2007, Elektromontage AB changed its name to Viametrics AB. The reason behind the name change was to clearly indicate that the company had made the transition from an electrical company to working solely with visitor counting.
2005
Since 2005 Viametrics has focused exclusively on visitor counting and today is the market leader in northern Europe. However, the company has a history that extends no less than 86 years back in time.
1994
In 1994 the clothing chain Lindex enquired about a concept for measuring visitors. Elektromontage designed a solution for the Lindex stores and has now supplied approximately 360 complete systems to Lindex in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia and the Czech Republic.
1922
Elektromontage was formed in 1922 in Alingsås as an out-and-out electrical company.

Viametrics was pleased to announce the addition of another major customer to its portfolio in mid May. Its new customer, Kicks, is a store chain with some 170 stores across Sweden, Norway and Finland. Project Manager Johannes Anderklint says, "This is an extremely important contract and a significant customer".

Cervera is by far Sweden's largest chain of shops for kitchen and dining products. Viametrics has been entrusted with the installation of visitor counters in all 70 Cervera shops.
