Atrium Ljungberg is one of Sweden's largest real estate companies with a clear focus on the development and administration of commercial and office real estate in Sweden and »complete environments« in metropolitan areas. They have approximately 20–25 shopping centres, of which around 10 of these are equipped with systems from Viametrics.

Ulf Söderström, technical manager, is responsible for six of these and explains why Viametrics was chosen as the supplier. ‘We chose Viametrics for our city gallerias as other departments at the company spoke highly of their products. We contacted our colleagues and they told us how well the products and solutions have worked. We have previously tried several other suppliers and were not satisfied – no service and poor technical solutions were the main reasons,’ says Ulf. ‘Viametrics is easy to install, the systems are easy to relocate in the event of rebuilding and reuse in other shops or entrances. This is because the only cable routing needed is the power supply and the fact that data is sent over a wireless GSM signal directly to the server at Viametrics. In addition, it is easy to contact Viametrics and receive answers to questions. The product makes it possible to simply measure customer flows, which is extremely important as we can then produce key figures such as sales per visitor and so on, concludes Ulf.
